Top Dentist Resigns Over Expenses Row

A dentist who was last month crowned the UK's consumer services entrepreneur of the year services has been forced to quit his role as chief executive of Britain's biggest private dental chain.

According to website Dentistry.co.uk, 49-year-old James Hull stood down as CEO at James Hull Associates last week following a row with investors over expenses.

However, it is understood that despite row the dentist and entrepreneur has been retained by the company in the role of life president.

In October, Dr Hull was among the winners at the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2009 Awards, scooping the top prize in the consumer services category.

Judges at the ceremony highlighted Dr Hull's ethical business model, saying it struck a balance between customer value and profitability.

His company, James Hull Associates, consists of a UK network of more than 80 private dental surgeries and over 300 dentists .

The company offers patients a comprehensive range of services, from regular dental examinations and treatment such as fillings, orthodontic treatment and teeth whitening to dental hygiene and full cosmetic dentistry services.
