Oral-B is set to launch a multi-million pound campaign to help revolutionise the UKs brushing habits.
The company is looking to encourage the use of rechargeable toothbrushes among consumers by repositioning all its in-store range of power tools and using inspiring visual merchandising that showcase the key benefits and features of each range.
The campaign will commence with TV and print advertising, POS in high street pharmacies and PR from 1st September.
Commenting on the new initiative, Steve Davey, Brand Manager at Oral-B said: "Research shows that 75 per cent of dentists and hygienists in the UK who recommend rechargeable toothbrushes, most frequently state Oral-B as the brand of choice."
"We know if consumers are aware that they can achieve a similar clean feeling at home, they will be motivated to make the switch to rechargeable."
The move by Oral-B - the leading rechargeable toothbrush brand within the UK market - comes at a time where the rechargeable toothbrush market is currently worth £50.6m and is growing at a rate of 10.4 per cent year on year.
